Relay For Life

The Subiaco Rotaract Club is putting together a team for the Relay for Life, happening in March next year. This is an early call, but apparently it booked up very quickly last year. Relay for life is a fundraising event for cancer awareness and research where participants in teams of 10 to 15, walk/run around Perry Lakes for 24 hours straight.

The rules are that at least one team member has to be walking at all times. The Relay for Life aims to raise funds and awareness of all forms of cancer in our society. Each team member is asked to raise at least $100. The Relay for Life is being held on 24 - 25 March 2007.

You can find out more on the website: http://www.cancerwa.asn.au/howyoucanhelp/raisingfunds/relayforlife/

WE SHOULD GET OUR OWN TEAM TOGETHER TO RUN THE RACE
